NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Parts 1 and 2

Register by clicking here. When you search for us on-line on the NRA training website, you will find us conducting NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Part 2 at McMiller Sports Center in Eagle, WI.**
Students take this course to learn the basics of pistol shooting using both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. This course is a minimum of 8 hours long and includes on-line classroom time, a review of classroom materials with live instructors and range time. We provide ample instructor coverage to ensure that students are properly supervised at the range.
Learning objectives include:
- NRA’s rules for safe gun handling,
- orientation to pistol parts and operation,
- orientation to ammunition,
- shooting fundamentals,
- range rules,
- shooting from the bench rest & 2-handed standing positions,
- cleaning and maintaining pistols, and
- opportunities for continued skill development.
