“I recently had the opportunity to learn with the Phoenix team.  Being an experienced shooter I needed to attend a refresher course to comply with Illinois CCW.  I was looking for a class to actually learn something and not just cover the minimum state requirements.  I was very impressed with the professionalism, individual instruction and quality of the entire staff.  When people know what they are talking about and really enjoy teaching, it makes for a very positive learning experience.  Thank you to Alexandra, Lance and Bill for a great time.  I would highly recommend Phoenix for any firearm training from basic to highly advanced.”  – Ken N., Deerfield IL, 01/02/2014

“Very patient and knowledgeable instructors!!  Worked with Bill, Lance and Alexandra.  They took the time to make sure you got comfortable with firearms and understood the basics.  They made you feel very comfortable with handling them.  Alexandra is also willing to assist with any questions even after the class!!!” – Tim G., Mount Prospect IL, 08/11/2013

“Great class for safety, proper handling, safe storeage, cleaning and diferant types of pistols and ammo.  Alexandra and Lance give individual insruction, real firearms are used so you get used to safaly handling them.  Any questions are answered.  Then after 2 classes you go to a range and get more instruction and life fire.  Class was fun and very informative, safety stressed throughout.” – Dick C., Rolling Meadows IL, 03/09/2013

“The instructors and class were top notch.  I have seen adds for other training facilities where the students were using “toy (blue)” practice weapons.  Phoenix used all real firearms throughout the class.  This enabled us to learn REAL safety of REAL firearms and that we were always cognoscente of safety.  Several types of firearms were present to that we could get familiarized with what we would be likely to encounter.

We were encouraged to ask questions and class was never rushed.  Even with the second night running over 30 minutes past, learning took priority to ensure everyone was comfortable and questions were answered.  On the day of the practical, the instructors took their time giving one-on-one instructions.  Nobody was rushed and we were encouraged to stay and practice even after.  AWESOME!!!” – Ron Z., Mount Prospect IL, 03/07/2013
